Fans of Pistol Whip will be happy to hear there is a new update ready to download onto their Quest today as the rhythm shooter gets its biggest update yet.
A new third scene comes in this updated. Called Full Throttle, players get to shoot, dodge and whip their way through the desert in the midst of a rampaging vehicular rally filled with surprises.
This scene is the hardest yet in the game, and it is the first to introduce scene events, a new way for its developers to add synchronized animations to scenes for spectacular flare.
In the free update, there are also two new modifiers. Scavenger and One-and-Done. The latter modifier makes one-shot kills of any enemy type, whilst the first changes how you reload your weapon, where you have to pistol-whip enemies to reload.
Finally, there are a few new customisation options for your weapons, featuring 3 new pistols and 5 new wraps, 3 new colours and metals and a new gun sound inspired by the pistol in Half-Life 2 – awesome!
