Zyber VR Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap Review | Extra Comfort For Less

In this video, I check out the Zyber VR Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap. You can buy the Elite Strap for $38.99 directly from Zyber VR ➡️ , and from Amazon US ➡️ https://amzn.to/45JMOEm or for £49.99 from Amazon UK ➡️ https://amzn.to/3s7ZDe0 and €36.99 from Amazon DE ➡️ https://amzn.to/494gheZ.

You can pick up an official Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap for $69.99, but STOP!, why would you do that when you can get much more comfort, and a whole lot more features for almost half that cost? Thanks to the Zyber VR Elite Strap, this cost-saving marvel has been in my hands for the past week, and here is my review…

Over the past 3 years, there have been many head strap iterations and designs for the Quest 2, and it is this innovation that has helped Zyber to hit the ground running with one of the first third-party Elite straps available on the Quest 3. In a nutshell, it’s the same as their Quest 2 strap, albeit with a few tweaks and the more important fitment for the Quest 3 headset – no 3D printed accessories needed!

of the box, this strap can give you a false sense of cheapness, but once mounted, all this impression washes away along with the added sense of extra comfort it gives you. Finally, you can toss that official soft strap into the bin (no really, you should), because there is a new king (or crown) in town.

What you get for almost half the price of the official Meta Elite Strap is a hinged side rail, which makes this strap very handy for taking breaks, talking to people outside of using passthrough, and most of all it makes it much easier to wear/remove. The strap also features a new hinged rear pad that tilts back and forward slightly to help with comfort and it has also been reduced by 10% to reduce the padding from cutting into the back of your neck when looking upwards in VR. A slightly better adjustment dial is also featured at the back – but it does make the awful ratchet sound when tightening up. Finally, the top strap has thick foam padding added to it, which is very welcome and something both expensive official versions can only dream of having.

Having owned an Elite Strap on day one for the Quest 2, I have since seen so much better third-party options become available, so much so in fact that, I never felt the need to put the official strap on for my own personal use, other than to test an accessory or show the strap fitting in a carry case.

There really is no reason to buy the costly official version now that these Meta Quest 3 Elite straps are available to buy. Straps like these from Zyber offer so much extra for your money – in short, it’s a no-brainer if you’re looking for an Elite style strap for your Quest 3. Put that saving into a couple of games, or some knuckle straps – more on that in another review.
