In this video, I look at the new head strap foam pad from VR Cover, I give a brief instruction on how best to install it, and then I wrap up with my first-impressions about it and whether it is worth buying for your stock soft strap on the Oculus Quest 2.
For it is a small investment that really does improve the overall comfort of the Quest 2 soft strap. If you find there is a level of discomfort from the two plastic strap adjustment pieces at the back of the Quest 2 soft strap, then this accessory from VR Cover might be for you.
The Head Strap Foam Pad really helps address the pressure from the adjustment pieces at the back, it adds a little extra comfort to the crown of your head (however that piece could have been longer to pad the very top of your head) and the velcro fasteners can also be utilized along with some additional straps to attach a battery pack to the back of it if you wish.
