This week saw one new game release on the Oculus Quest from Dreadhalls. Although this new release didn’t make it in this week’s chart, yet it is the most played this week, something more strange occurred. Many Oculus Go apps and upgrades released this week, which has seen the chart feature a surge of Go ports re-enter this week’s chart.
Let’s look at this weeks top 10 chart positions on the Oculus Quest Store.
Top 10 Selling on Oculus Quest
- Vader Immortal: Episode 2 (1)
- Beat Saber (2)
- SUPERHOT VR (4)
- Vader Immortal: Episode 1 (3)
- End Space (Re-Entry)
- RUSH (Re-Entry)
- Virtual Virtual Reality (Re-Entry)
- Wander (Re-Entry)
- Gun Club VR (Re-Entry)
- Death Horizon: Reloaded (5)
It seems, although free, the re-purchase of the game as an upgrade has affected this week’s chart, as people who purchased the 5 games that have entered into this week’s chart on the Go are now re-purchasing the game from the Store, thus sending the game up the chart.
This shows that a trend that many who purchased the Go version of End Space never re-purchased it on the Quest, until it now that it is available to them for free. Rush, VVR, Wander and Gun Club VR also had the same trend. I would have thought Ultrawings would’ve been up there, but I guess many repurchased this on their Quest, and they are now getting refunded instead.
Tune in next Sunday as we look at the movers and shakers of the Oculus Store Top Selling chart.
