Alongside the announcement of its stealth action game Budget Cuts coming to PlayStation VR, its developer Neat Corporation also hinted in a recent tweet at the possibility of the game coming to Oculus Quest – after some more performance optimization of course.
right now we are working on a PSVR version of budget cuts – quest will require even more of a performance optimization but we will look into it once we are "done" with PSVR!

Budget Cuts is a game where you become an employee at mega-conglomerate TransCorp to stamp papers and file files! Unfortunately, TransCorp is an expert in the business of manufacturing cost-cutting robots, and soon *your* job will be in danger. As another one of your coworkers is being dragged off to the terrifying HR department, a mysterious package arrives at your cubicle. Will you be able to save your job?
I loved playing this game on the HTC VIVE some time ago. It was simple yet great fun, and it really made good use of room tracking that an Oculus Quest version will no doubt carry over too. Poking your head through holes in the walls, peaking over balcony walls, or leaning around corners, it never felt so immersive.
There is no word when the PSVR version will be complete, so don’t expect any official announcements of the Oculus Quest anytime soon, but it is great that the developers will at least be taking a look at an Oculus Quest release after the PSVR version has been launched.
I’ll be keeping my throwing knives well and truly crossed.
