If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead TV Show, or just a fan of zombies in general, then The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a flagship title that has been ported to the Quest. Playing on the Quest 2 will offer minor enhancements in additional objects and possibly the amount of zombies you encounter at once, but otherwise it has been faithfully brought to the Quest, which is an amazing feat in itself.

2021 Oculus Quest titles

Natural Magic is the first full expansion for Waltz of the Wizard, adding new locations and new form of magic for users to control. Visit the new castle courtyard and find the mysterious ritual circle to travel to new worlds – starting with the labyrinth. Adventurous wizards will explore its depths to recover forbidden knowledge and artifacts of the Observers, a race of interdimensional beings that have learned to harness magical energies to power strange gadgets and modify the fabric of space and time.

Splinter Cell

At this year’s Facebook Connect, Ubisoft shifty took to the stage to announce that the Splinter Cell franchise will be coming to the Quest. This is likely to be next year sometime and there is very little else to know about what the game will entail. I imagine this game will feature a solo campaign along the lines of Espire1 and Phantom: Covert Ops, which can’t be bad.

Assassins Creed

Alongside Splinter Cell, Ubisoft also announced that the Quest will see an Assassin’s Creed title. The artwork shown during the announcement showed the many characters from the franchise, which could suggest that we may have a title that dives into each of the game’s characters and worlds. With a few titles already showing the climbing mechanics such as The Climb and Espire 1, having this in the AC world will be epic!

Project 4 (Bone Works spin-off title)

Announced at last year’s Oculus Connect, back in September 2019, the next time we were told that we would hear more about Project 4 was ‘next year’. We’re way beyond that now, but COVID happened, so this project has likely taken a hit and without any promises made, we will likely hear more about this game in 2021.
